if you wanna fix the mat_fullbright 1 problem, you should use the source 2013 sdk base singleplayer/multiplayer (depends on what you wanna use)

but if you dont wanna do that you can just use a trigger/logic_auto to make it so when you spawn, it triggers the mat_fullbright 0 command.

this mod is actually a pretty good mod for a demo
the ep2 remaster theres a flaw i found
you can just escape the map on the water part
