Edit your mod
Scroll down until you find "Link mods, games, groups"
Delete "Brutal DooM" (select and move left)
Search for "DooM" and add related game (select search result and move right)

Add file MENUDEF.TXT to the archive "brutalv20b_R.pk3" (open "brutalv20b_R.pk3" with WinRAR or 7-zip and drag'n'drop file MENUDEF.TXT, confirm replace) or add like addon
It can be implemented as addon for v21 even if Sergeant_Mark_IV don't want to include that feature in the main build.
But anyway v21 is not released yet.
Since original source code in ACS scripts from Sergeant_Mark_IV is not full, you can't toss a grenade anymore because that script is not included in ACS source code and I compiled a new script that don't handles a toss grenade feature. I will fix that later in next version.
Currently working on mods for Brutal DooM
I think it's will be a weapon based. You can use dodge abilities many times only with melee weapons and switching to weapons that can shoot significantly increases a cooldown.
May be but you need to press buttons very frequency so don’t think that you will be in relax state.
Also I’m playing in realistic difficulty where small mistake cost you a very large health drop. Also I don’t like save scum, mostly playing in one life.
That is an interesting experiment for me that provide a way to use melee weapon in realistic difficult and survive a traps in the map.
