on further checking, it wasn't commented out in the t26 file (that was just a couple of other files that have thrown up errors so far) it was a typo. Also throws up errors expecting end of SDL file (doesn't like your "bone" statements in the t26.def file). So far I've found roughly a dozen or so errors and bugs in the 3.0 release. Don't want to criticise, but...did you actually check before release?
Lots of bugs in 3.0 that I'm finding in the editor, for example you've commented out several } and as a result the game throws up errors:

Creator stopped working on the mod about a year ago, he posted it on the DMS forums that he got bored and stopped working on it. He also said he'll never release anything he's created for it as he doesn't believe it's "good enough" to release.
The British Empire, and many other nations played a bigger and longer role in World War 1 than the Americans, who statistically speaking, played a very minor role and in my opinion, the americans should be included merely as a subset of units for the British :p (although bonus missions at some point can't hurt, I'd rather see the bigger campaigns for the British, French, German and Russians done, shame there won't be a bigger turkish campaign, but who says that when the mod is released, people can't make their own campaign addons for it ;)
