3:15 is the round timer, the time of day doesn't advance on the battlefield. That occurs in the strategic part of the campaign.

It is multiplayer only, however it incorporates a lot of single player aspects, such as crafting, questing and in the future, owning castles/buildings which I know is a huge request from everyone who wants a more co-op experience.
