RECENT UPDATES

* Feature Addition : Higher Manufacturer Visibility - See all the potential manufacturers you may end up with.
* Feature Addition : Major Powers can now exchange licenses with new allies (for fighters, bombers or naval aircraft) if they can spare the political power. This now extends licenses across to the entire game.
* Bugfix - Improved stability, manufacturers will no longer go missing.
* Bugfix - Typos

This also includes the base .mod file - sorry if you couldn't do it before.
Also, this was a very rough launch, with two killer bugs and coding problems which took rewriting a fair bit of code. This should be a much smoother ride.

Could you please address the population issues late game? (Population grows more than the resources can provide leading to global rebellion and collapse of system).

Historically

* I was thinking of Smallpox (430BC-1979 (300 million people worldwide in the 29th Century alone)
* Spanish Flu (1918-1919), 50-100,000 people in just 2 years.
* Black Death could make a comeback (75 million people 1340-1771)
* Malaria kills about 2 million people a year
* Cholera (originally broke out in India in 1817) and by the time the game starts is already the most feared disease out there.
* Typhus killed 3,000,000 people between 1918-1922 alone.
* Consumption/TB/White Death (100,000 per year, then 1851-1910 4,000,000 deaths.

If you use it, I would have them do a pop count (if such a thing is possible) and be triggered automatically (with an increasing chance) after a threshold is reached, and then prune back pops using these tools to an optimal level, but I am no programmer.

Hard to get Chinese experts, but there are some. Also check out Colin Mackerras's texts on China, e.g. "China in Transformation". Breathtaking and they will inspire you to write some fun event chains that add character and help with what you are trying to do.

Just want to add that your obvious love of history is something that feeds into the mod in a wonderful way. Know who you are writing for, us history nerds who don't take kindly to "artificiality". :) Love your response and your interest in improving China Further!
