The next Archipelago Maxus. From these there brawny shores aheaves doth aplenty of thine h-odes. Take seat - please thineself with a countenance of good wise prolapse. Pleasure thee better regions with a good worldly frolicking of an passage or two. Visage the planes of formular composure, to be most mimicking, that a trifling fancy may pass whence might another be discarded. Verily, thou may try me a pulchritudinous overbearer, but disparage not until confirmed those lilts of consideration most lagging with the 'right here', temporally speaking. It would be becoming.

Description

So I'm really into this conversation on the USP chat, and as soon as I'm ready to engage in the topic, the internet is turned off so that the cable guys can refit us with HD cable boxes and some other devices to make our life of entertainment here at home much more enjoyable. Needless to say, I was a bit peeved that it had happened as soon as I was ready to start my opinionated yet open-minded rant. So what the hell do I do? That's right, I opened Blender, pulled up some references of the Dead Space pulse rifle, and went right to work on what I first thought was simply something to occupy my time with. This also gave me a poor yet rewarding excuse to break off another viewport from blender into a separate window (that I'd benefit more from in the case that I actually had at least a second monitor to work on), something that, until then, I'd never done before. I went and put stuff together, starting in the middle and working to the front of the gun (which, I might add, was the most eye-opening part of this experience), then set on the back and the handle of the gun. After a few refinements, and some of my first attempts at hard-mesh rigging, I took these shots, posted them in places, and a week later I'm posting them here now. I'll note, for the sake of respect and...ehm, honor, that the design for this weapon was devised by the team of Dead Space. I didn't come up with anything but the geometry and what have you. As for other things you're not seeing in these shots, there is a stock of sorts that attaches to the gun, which can be telescoped out in several goofy and confusing ways to make a strangely long paddle thing that could be wielded quite effectively by an enraged gorilla simply as a blunt object and not a powerful plasma firing nightmare of a gun. Note that I've also redone just about every part in some way in low poly forms in an attempt to bring this to an optimized, UE1 compatible level of polys if someone wants to make these for UT. Next: Linegun >:E
