AfterMath is a single-player-only game. It does not support multiplayer.
This will be false-positive. Because it is coded in Batch, and then converted via Advanced BAT to EXE Converter. It has had these results before with others, but it is fine.
What's that supposed to mean? LOL!
Please feel free to fill us in on those many ways, that way we can make it more worth your time! :)
Alright, I have scanned the file myself -- with AVG and Malwarebytes softwares -- and my guess is that those whose antiviruses are finding viruses or trojans are getting false-positives. To make the .EXE file I have to use conversion software, and the original file is in Batch code -- so that may be why (Batch utilizes command prompt). If you would like, you can find the documents from both scans here: Dropbox.com
I apologize, as well, for my frustrations against you commenters. I should have just gone to scan the items, and also apologize for the long-awaited self-scanning of the files. Thanks for the patience.
Well, my guess is it's a false positive. Other people have downloaded the game without a single problem (incl. myself). But I am going to run Malwarebytes and AVG on the file as soon as I can. As for dealing with staff, it is not on their side of it. And I code with batch, so whether the converter I use makes it look funny, I ain't sure yet.
You be able to just launch it. If not, reinstall and it should work (as in from this page).
Honestly, what I REALLY am and will never be unconvinced of is that the game is virus-free, and that these antiviruses are either doing it wrong, or you trolls whom keep telling different are just full of crap. (i.e. open the .exe, and play the game, THEN tell me it's a virus!)
Microsoft Security Essentials seems to be better than these other antiviruses because, (1), it is free, (2), when scanning the AfterMath.exe, there are NO issues -- as there should be, either that or these people coming up with the bs, that the file contains viruses or Trojans, are really just full of crap.

Download Microsoft Security Essentials and scan it. There are absolutely NO viruses or Trojans whatsoever in the AfterMath.exe.
You can only pick from the choices you are given.
If you are on Windows, get Microsoft Security Essentials: it's cheaper (FREE), smaller, and serves better for anti-virus. Trust me, there is absolutely no viruses at all in AfterMath.
Okay, try now. Getting the game's file and Desura to work together has been a tad difficult, but should be good now.
Hrmm, very odd, what is your virus thingy (you mean anti-virus, correct)?
