It's Idlesheep's idea to keep MF independent on any FO4 add-ons....
It's Idlesheep's idea to keep MF independent on any FO4 add-ons....
Same as every other mod - if not using NMM, manually (download/unzip/paste all content into Your FO4 data folder) ;-)
Weird. And - not sure of what knives/swords/crossbow You are talking about - there are no such weapons in MF....? Even new hanguns are only in Modern Sidearms.
If i understand Your issue is not related only to MF. Try check Your ini file (see how to enable mods on Nexus or try to google it)
Unfortunatelly. What's worse is mod author went MIA, nobody from MF team heard of him in almost month.....
Hope not, but mod author is currently MIA....
Weird... Would You try fresh download from here and 7Zip to unpack to be sure?
As blacktigertk said; for me - I'm using quite ancient 7zip (9.20) without any problems...
Sorry if my post seemed offensive to You, but it's first time I hear someone having such problems... Never had such issues myself from first times with MF. Don't understand what You mean with "encrypted folder/files" - MF uses same structure as other mods....?
I get MF 1.1beta from this site myself, and download/install via NMM makes mod work correctly for me, not speaking of manual install....
Others mods working correctly for You?
- if answer is yes - did You tried change load order?
- if answer is no - have You enabled mods correctly? (try on Nexus how to enable mods)
On installation - hardly it would be more user friendly. Materials/Meshes/Sound/Textures all have only subfolder named SHEEP, so it's quite simple to add/delete it. Scripts are named starting MF (+ one ModernFirearms) = same. Meshes subfolder "Actors" - easily copy/paste....
Uninstall - remove all subfolders named SHEEP and scripts that names are starting MF/ModernFirearms. Meshes/Actors - with no offense, not to hard to track down what to delete I suppose if You can handle basic copy/paste/overwrite/delete....
One point to You - I never noticed something like this...
Then must dissapoint You - it can't be attached to the top rail, so it's strange that is displayed there. May be caused by author's use of old weapon model - MF first started as port of Exciter's weapon packs for Fallout New Vegas - on these guns laser pointers were mounted on the top...
Not sure if I fully understand what do You mean, but - laser pointers (with or without laser beam) can be attached to right/left/both sides of almost all barrels; can be removed too. Search for left/right attachment point in workbench (right bellow muzzles/suppressors).... BTW - best way is to upgrade equiped weapon, there may be issues with upgrades not showing properly in workbench.
BTW - if using AWKCR, check this: Nexusmods.com? and read description.
Open MF in CK, find section "armor", then find BDU's; right click on them and find option "use info", click on it - You'll see in what LL it is. Double click on LL = open it, find BDU's and delete them...
Weird, Moss 500 shouldn't be causing such problems. I'd suspect something's missing or mod conflict. Try manual reinstall - download, unpack zip and manually paste everything into FO4 data folder (say yes to overwrite); if it doesnt's help, try change load order....?
Glad to hear it You figured it out. BTW: sResourceDataDirsFinal= alone should do same trick, listing everything after = is quite old way and not necessary now....
Yes, sorry for this. It's an issue with LL integration/variability - original idea was to replace all vanilla weapons with MF ones, but it doesn't works as intended for now...
Sorry, must say in this case I'm only repeating others ideas/solutions. I can handle very few things in FO4Edit, and almost none in CK. For myself I only deleted them from Levelled List. Try ask WykdGrl - she did it...
Yes, it's the best way. Plus better delete BDU uniforms from Levelled List, they're still WIP and are bugged on male characters.
BDUs are still WIP. Unfortunately mod author is busy IRL now. Try open CK/FO4Edit and change BDUs to vanilla Army fatigues or delete them from Levelled List to stop them to spawn on NPC's....
Don't worry, mod's not dead, but unfortunately mod author is busy IRL now....
Yeah, BDU uniforms are still WIP. Unfortunatelly mod author is busy IRL now; best way atm is go to FO4Edit/CK and remove BDU's from Levelled List....
Heh, I think it's FO4 itself. Had mysterious mod conflicts in the past myself and never figured out what was the cause....
Looks like mod conflict. Try change load order?
Weird. Try load game only with MF? May be mod conflict. Works fine for me - at the bottom of load order, with CBBE and few basic outfit mods (Adventurer, Shorts, V.Girl Shorts, even with original CUTE...)
2.5 is still beta; so be patient, team will surely erase such glitches.... ;-)
May be because of Modern Sidearms. MS was released with v.2.4; in 2.5beta are many internal changes, so it may have some issues. May be why MS link is disabled for now, before 2.5 reaches full version and MS will be tweaked...
