Oh yeah, I forgot that since the last modification was for the OSS server... You just have to wait that I found a good server to host my files ( better than source forge... ) and I'll upload them, my bad.

Realism mod does exists on CoD4 by some tweaking of the mod open warfare, check this IP : 64.34.182.21:28960 it's the 82nd server. Really cool server with lots of player ( it's a tactical realism mod, so check the rules in game before doing anything wrong ^^ )

Well I'm actually working for some cash... BTW it seem's that the mod sometimes crashed on remote servers ( it doesn't happened when I host the game at home )... I have no idea where it comes from and I'm really to busy with my A-exam for now... Sorry, I migh come back later ( and maybe with another game xD ). I'm also currently learning to code on micro-controllers...

Well the files will still up and there was not much things to do anymore because the engine is really limited... I don't know what will come next : a realistic mod or a rpg based survival zombie mod/game ( I just need a good engine xD ) ^^

I'm actually leaving CoD4 becaus ethe engine it's way much limited. I'll maybe try to give a go the crysis engine ( the next SDK release will be a full monthy ;) ) The mod is currently out and the last version will be upload when I'll find palce to stock it without having connection issues -_-

PS : There might an official event someday but I have no idea when i'll organise that, I have too much things to handle now. Sorry.

I really hope the frostbite3 engine will have a SDK release ( the destruction will certainly be included in all the next-gen engine. DICE aren't aliens, if they made it, the other brands can make it too... )

Yep, because that's a new mod and so there is not a lot of players that are going on the server, that's why I'll try to organise an event to regroup all the players together. But for that I have to pass my A-exam in first ^^

I checked the mod and I don't think I will be able to use the maps, they seem's to be the propriety of the guys that makes the mod. But don't worry, we'll maybe some new maps designed for the mod one day ( I just need to try to do some map editing... I would like to do a lots of destructibles objects in this case ^^ )

No sorry i prefer to stay with the trijicon acog, it's more reaistic. I know the CoD4 acog isn't realistic but I'll change that in time ^^ I'm currently doing my A-exam so I don't have a lots of time to put in the mod. I will first release the new version of the mod with the glow tweaking, the new recoils and some dvars and code fixing ^^

Oh yes I know that map, it's "mp_tchernobyl". It's not a huge map because there is a lot of covers but I agree with you, it's a big map ^^ I also love the map "mp_rescue". It's a map from the movie "black hawk down". I love it :)

the dvar is scr_testclients numberofbots. They usually spawn and start to move evrywhere while shooting but I changed a bit the messy and odd code that is supposed to lead them and they are now gently waiting to take a shot to move ^^

Little correction : the knife blood effect and the blood dripping are both working on my version... The blood dripping does make large splater so look well, you might see it.
I will probably upload a new version of the mod shortly and if the effect was buggy in this version, it will work on the next one.

Yeah I just noticed that and I have no idea what's going on. The knife blood fX isn't working too. I'll take a look when the weapons recoil rebalancing will be done ( it will take some days I think ).

Do you know the map dam_mp? It's a great custom map. I like it very much. It's a big map on... a dam ^^ That's one of the custom map that will run on the official server. I'm always looking for big maps but the engine of CoD4 can only handle a small amount of assets in a map so it's really hard to make big interesting maps... ( exept maybe an afghanistan's map with big mountains and tunnels, there is no need to use assets for that ^^ ). Anyway, the game is designed to be play on CQC and I don't think I can change that a lot ( but I'm trying to ).
If you do know big ( and cool ) maps, don't hesitate to send me a link ^^

I'm using a 16:9 ratio, a 80 fov and the gun is a bit forward of the orignal one. I can swear I'm not using new models, I'm not confortable with MAYA and 3D modelling but I agree with you that moving weapons a bit forward, 80 fov and supressing the ads zoom makes the weapons looks different ^^

PS : I don't see what you are meaning by RDS sorry ^^
