I tried this older version, It worked fine...until I tried to create a mod. I set up all my information and all of the sudden, the whole program just closes.

I don't if this is giving me what I want. I haven't downloaded it yet (In fact, its downloading right now) an I am very skeptical if this works or not based from the comments on this. Maybe it'll surpass my expectations?
