RA2 is not as good as Tiberian Sun. And I should know lol.
Still, the large number of mods out there should mean it's worth your while buying it. And with more kick-*** mods on the horizon (get hunting, and I'll be posting database entries for them shortly :D), a mediocre game will become something quite versatile, varied and special.
There are already a few mods released that I love for RA2 and/or YR. With luck in the coming months there will be an assload more! :)
It doesn't do a great mod like this justice to die...
Where are the mappers when you need them?
Also, if you're gonna make one, give it a custom death-anim sequence. Doesn't do much for it if they just all die.
It's the perfect gamemode for how I love to play UT (CUT, teamplay, strategic and with a purpose).
May the 2k3 version be as good (if not better) than the UT version!

Sorry to disagree, but I can hand-on-my-heart say I didn't like U4E.
I mean, this mod MUST be good. After all it shipped with UT GOTY edition (and rightly so! This mod is awesome!). However, the flaws with the 1.0 that shipped with GOTY (the lack of power of the Bastard Sword and the Claw's melee mode..and that's about it) were all fixed with V1.1. Plus the godly Utility Gun and CAS12 (one of my personal favourite weapons :P) were added.
Hat off to the CUT fellas...they rule. And the UT2k3 mod they're doing is almost as good as the UT version. Note: I NEVER play standard UT weapons anymore. Always CUT on rotate function ^_^

That's what this mod is. Ever so challenging, and a damn good thing for LAN parties.
I don't think I've ever known myself have such a hard time winning a mod (not because the mod is unfairly weighted, but because it's such a brilliant scoring system and a helluva thing to actually hit the top of the scoreboard!). Hell, I can find myself at the bottom sometimes cause I didn't see that cockbiting SkaarjQueen waddling up behind me.
Brilliant mod. 10 out of 10 ^_^
