It just appears to be openess for the sake of openness. Hopefully there will be something more to the original Stalker that comes of this ^^.

Well, it's interesting. I like russian, but I can't understand any by hearing it, as I suck at it. Is there a version with subtitles? Also, I seem to crash every time I open a certain door near the beginning.
