I will say that the links between the cubes looks too dry and unprocessed. It doesn't blend at all with the background.
And that's due to the fact that they are just compositional elements and nothing more ;)

great job.love the background,specially the color combination.the idea of the cubes (i mean implementing them) is brilliant i just dont like the dulled out edges.but then again u said they are just for practice.this might be very good for the harvest actually.ill talk to rid.
Yeah, as you can see, the other two cubes don't have cut-off edges. It was for perspective practice only. If you can use concepts like this for 'The Harvest', I can also do more of those, absolutely no problem.
