mid core gamer - love games, sucks at about half of them, still plays. The one thing I don't like is anything which has to be learned and played by heart - many platformers and boss battles frustrate me as you just have to learn and time just so and repeat, repeat, repeat. If I wanted this I'd just go back to school. So don't give me scripted games on rails where everything happens the same way and has to be learned and repeated to perfection, and where the only way to succeed implies reading pages in forums and walkthroughs because the game doesn't give information. Give me messy games, games where each run is not exactly the same, and where improvising and figuring-out-as-you-go is the norm. And where it is possible to muddle through. Muddling through is what I do. Love to take a chance on new indie games, seed buyer or small funding
