Why do I have 3 images of the same scene?
They are part of a showcase feature I'm writing for the latest quake 1 engine eye candy - the HD pack - Moddb.com run under darkplaces engine - Moddb.com . Darkplaces has some amazing advances but run with vanilla quake out of the box, it still looks like glquake at higher resolutions.
The feature will do a video comparison of torch flames in all 3 renderers. With this latest upgrade, a better physics engine and a bit of talent, you could make a game that looks as good as anything out there.
Sighs. I have this mostly ready...alas but for the first torch video uploading as blank. ARG.
DONE! Yes. Now on to bigger and better things. Like that Lovecraft Horror part.
