OK. So just, whichever one you have selected in the 'ships' screen when you undock is the one you'll be flying? It seems like I'm trapped in a particular one no matter which I select

I'm really digging this game. Wanted to ask, is there a way to change ships or buy a new one, or is that dictated by which mission you're on?
