As always ensure you have .NET and XNA installed and up to date, first. Then download the game files using the launcher and then launch the game using the launcher.

It's because one free DropBox account can't handle the sheer amount of traffic generated by this game.

English: It should work natively in Windows 8, providing XNA and .NET are installed.

Portugese: Ele deve trabalhar nativamente no Windows 8, fornecendo e XNA. NET estão instalados.

Desculpe, eu sou britânico e este é o Google Translate. :-(

Now, now profane language like that won't help anyone:

1. Ensure you have installed the latest .NET and XNA frameworks.
2. Run the launcher and download the game files, remember the game will only launch from the launcher.
3. If all else fails, try my mirror which has everything included:

A Linux port would be difficult because of the game's reliance on both .NET and XNA frameworks. I think it would be unlikely we'll see one at all.

There maybe official support for a WINE version if the developer has time and energy for it. :-)
