Crash. People really need to learn how to package these weapons (AND MAPS) correctly. See Ponysaurus Rex for examples. Luckily I know where they should go. It still crashed. WTH :/

OK long story short, I got this to work THANK YOU. I'm just wondering how to get my own weapons into it. Can you do your own weapons/custom kits? I don't see kits in the Objects_Server.zip file...
I've gotten a few weapons to show up. Strange though. Not sure how it happened. I copied my kits from the original Objects_Server.zip yet only a few specific kits have changed. The medic on each team changed. But no others. Very odd. Hmmm...
Thank you Mohammed. Looks like fun, I will try it. I'm curious, what sounds do you use for explosions?
I'd like some audio from BF Bad Co. or BF3... Also the explosion sound from Half Life 2 (grenade/rpg) would be very nice to use. Do you have any advice for a novice with regards to adding your own sounds into BF2?
(I want the BF Bad Company SVU-A, and the BFBC2 M1 Garand.)
I realize this is a bit late ('2018 STILL on BF2 OMG!'), But is this by chance just simple copies of the originals, or have you done some tweaking or modding to make them more compatible. I only wonder because, I've been trying new maps all over the place and each and every single one either crashes before loading finishes, or crashes just after I press 'Done' to spawn. I've tried so many things, including reinstalling AIX 2.0 altogether (to get stock kits and settings back). Help! Battlefield 2 is so much fun, and I'm dying to see some these new maps for myself.
A few things I've tried: Turning off CPUs in Task Manager. Different Compatibility Modes, -OR- Compatibility Mode Off. I've tried turning off Anti-Aliasing in BF2 AIX (already off).
Does anyone know how to fix the custom map crash for windows 7/XP? AIX 2.0 works fine for me. It's wonderful! But when I add any maps to the Mods/AIX/Levels folder, it mostly crashes when loading the map. Or sometimes it even lets me past the load screen, but then as soon as I chooses a spawn point and click 'Done' it CTD's. It has even stopped letting me play a vanilla map (Great Wall)!
This is extremely infuriating because seemingly all video tutorials give the most basic explanation of how to put a simple file into a simple folder. Useless! I've read some help, but still no luck. You'd think this would be a fairly easy fix, I mean some of the maps FULLY LOAD for dogs sake!
Also worth noting is the lack of any error message, it just goes black for a second, then desktop.
I feel as though I am missing something in another folder (perhaps to do with soldier/AI skins?), because some of these maps appear to have factions I've never seen (not EU,US,CH,or MEC). Any useful help is MUCH APPRECIATED, by more than just myself I'm sure!
This tells me "Battlefield 2 is not installed." !! I've run in compatibility modes (XP SP 3). What must I do to get this to work? Please respond only if you can give details. I'm windows 7.
No offense, but what exactly is the point of uploading this..? Is there any significant difference from the original BF2 weapon? Is this a BF3/BF4 version? Are there any attachments other than what is shown in the picture? Suppressor? Optics..?
Is this specifically for BF Korea, or can I add the maps to another mod, say AIX 2.o ?
Thank you, by the way.
Very nice, as always Ponysaurus. But... No suppressor???
Sad. :/
Remyx your video doesn't show how to fix the crosshairs issue. Did Bismagamers fix it?
Ponysaurus Rex's weapons work is SUPERB. I wish he would've made the HK M417, SVD(suppressor) and the SVU-A. Also some pistols such as the M92FS, MP433, and Glock 19 would be awesome!
THANK YOU Ponysaurus.
Very nice weapon upload! Do you think you could possibly create an update of this? The addition of the suppressed version would be nice (with iron sights, m145, eotech, etc.).
Also you might want to consider making a more comprehensive weapons pack (See Ponysaurus_Rex's BF4 **2017 FIX** packs for a prime example). People have some difficulty discerning where each particular file is meant to be placed after unzipping.
