We'll definitely have ships which use this flying mechanic and are large enough to hold the utility vehicles.
We'd like to have massive ships that the player can walk around on and which are flown from a bridge, but it will be a while before that becomes a priority.

Thank you so much. This project is inspired by a long list of books, movies, games, and other things. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get into the creative side of things yet - most of the work has been purely technical, but I hope to start adding things that will give this project some more character soon.
I did play EVE for a while but it's been a few years. I always enjoyed their economy and trade system, though.
