Hey after a fresh install, patching to 1.005, then installing the mod, the game wont save and whenever i try and go anywhere but the starting zone the game crashes. Can anyone help plz?

So i just stumbled upon this mod because i recently found my copy of stalker and decided to play it again. After a clean install of stalker and patching to 1.005 and then installing the mod, the game wont let me save (i noticed this in comments under the patch and tried everything but nothings worked) also it crashes when i try and go anywhere but the starting area. plz help?
