The mod has a very devoted team of polite and helpful administrators, this fact is first and foremost the most important aspect of any mod. They are diligently working to improve the mod while also taking into account feedback and responses from players. The developers have and are continuing to deliver excellent content that is enriched by accurate lore. Everything is beautiful and end tier super units are especially eye-pleasing, ranging from the glorious Lady of Light to the dominating prowess of the Dark Lord. Allowing me to control a Saruman that had accepted the Ring is really what took the mod to another level.
Factions are balanced and I found myself enjoying races in a way I had not previously before. Dwarven gameplay is rich in lore and has a specialization system that adds another layer to the faction. Mordor makes you feel powerful, especially when all Ringwraiths are being utilized. Elves are as they should be, fast, powerful, but somewhat squishy. Isengard is a freight train that is near impossible to stop once you are fully industrialized. Playing as the Men of Gondor feels heroic and as if you are truly repelling the forces of Evil. Rohan had been made even more unique and their cavalry is truly a force of reckoning. This mod is fantastic and should be played by any Lord of the Rings fan, whether the movies, books, or both.
