Report RSS Legend 9, Full Version progress, update 15: What Now?

Now, ladies and gents, since a reasonable presentation of Legend-9 has been released, i should be making a sharp turn toward my Doom-3 project, which despite garnering some attention - is still a few paces short of being complete. And now i do know how to complete those missing steps. Most of them anyway. However, this ain't happening yet, cause my main gaming machine is temporarily out of order. Yeah, sure it doesn't take something special to run Doom-3...but the Doom-3 editor (which is a nasty thing in itself) and everything associated with this process - is a completely different matter. So no Doom-3 for now. Alas.

Despite that, other things are taking benefits from this unfortunate delay. Namely: Legend-9. I am not that far from making it to the version 0.6. At the moment - i am working on two levels simultaneously: upgrade-remaking the Monastery and the Orchard of Lamentations. It surely takes time, but i think i am at an adequate pace so far, if i can manage both levels at the same time.

Also, as i hope those of you with a keen eye and thought, might have guessed: Warrior class 2nd weapon - is a placeholder. I did create the Shock Lance originally for my Wrath of Magic mod, and while i thought to maybe use it in Legend-9 too, - but only on condition that i can make its action be different enough from the Wizard's Sapphire Wand. And i could not find such solution. However, i needed the mod released with at least three fully functioning weapons for every character. So i took a temporary shortcut on this one.

Beside my work on the levels, i am also a step closer to the completion of the weapons. Elf class and Warrior class are both going to have changes in the version 0.6. I have rebuild the Elvenwand action completely utilizing a mix of very old and new ideas, and in doing so - also took care of the Warrior's 2nd weapon. No spoilers for now, as i am still experimenting with that. I'll make a weapons showcase at a later point. I know i should be already working on the presentation material and making proper news articles - cause right now the mod is like a tree that fell in the forest, if you know what i mean. But i am eventually deciding to postpone this kind of work until version 0.6 I really want to get the whole levels thing off the table first. And except for the two that are being upgraded right now - i have only one left.
