Report RSS Legend 8.43 weekly progress, update 1

This is the first update. As promised, i will deliver those weekly so that anyone can follow the final stages of development until release date. (which hopefully will be met)

So, this week i was dealing with some photoshop work on the custom content, and went on with the moderate level corrections. The latter are quite significant chunk of work, cause these involve retroactive changes. Consider them as "butterfly effect changes". As well as fixes and design improvements. Cleared maps 5,6 and partially 8 (Darkmere), so that's where i am now. Guardian of Steel (map 5) also needs to have current fire sources replaced with new ones. Yes, Legend 8.43 adds no less than 6 new light sources, - almost as much as the future Deathkings mod.

And thus, here are the new stats:

- new custom-made content: 80% completed (VS 75% last week)

- custom content revision: 70% completed (VS 50% last week)

- further aesthetic level fixes and revision: 23% complete (of the entire game) (VS 20% last week)

I am focusing on updating the areas that even in Legend 8.33 i kinda skimmed over. Or to put more directly: i was just too lazy to address those, amidst volumes of the more attractive work. This area below, (2nd switch and 2nd exit, Darkmere) for example, - was almost unchanged from the vanilla in the version 8.33. Well, - not anymore. Now it gets restyled, similar to a manner i used in one of Deathkings levels. A neatly arranged combination of sewer-stone textures with various overgrowth overlays and a broken building, partially submerged in a small pond in the center of the room. Still a work in progress. And yes, there are going to be Stalker leaders in this place as well.
