Technically, my friends, i am still tying up some loose ends with Hexen. I am creating a series of expert gameplay / partial walkthrough videos for different classes of Legend Farewell Edition 8.33 - plus, working also on the conclusion version of the Marine Mod, that would be version 2.1 - which features several very welcomed improvements. The last step to the finish line. So there is that.
But, at the same time, albeit at the slower pace, but i am moving forward with Wrath of Magic. I have finally progressed to the development of the third episode, The Dome of D'Sparil, where a greater challenge awaits me. The levels there are quite formidable, with some parts easier to modify into something presentable - while others require more thought and creativity. Currently, i am tackling the three first stages at the same time, - each little by little. There is definitely a lot of work ahead, which is not to count testing.
And, i got some comparison screenshots for you from the first two levels of the episode, demonstrating the remaking of some of the key areas in those levels, as well as the overall style change into my usual direction. No clowns, colored balloons and other innuendos of Mario / Chex-Quest / Depth Dwellers
And yes, sometimes it is hard to believe that those are the same areas, but - for those who played Legend Farewell Edition, and are familiar with the way i work, - that would just be old news.
And a bonus, - from the first episode of the game, - something that smashes everything to bits...
Stay Tuned!
