i am not a smart man.
after discovering that some of the repair-stations are in fact upgrade-stations, the seemingly diabolical level of difficulty turned out to be balanced just right.
and now i'm in love <3

another question: is there a reason for putting the environments etc. in a visible folder?
personally, i'd be more happy for them to be in .gentrieve2 or even .phr00t/gentrieve2

no, but i will look into it, desura homepage doesn't mention it (at least in an obvious way)

i can't launch the game through desura, as the exe location is set to % LAUNCHER_EXE% (on linux, that is).
launching by manually executing the script works as intended, so maybe you could review the desura-package.

that being said, i really like the game, the idea of playing through countless different iterations of metroid prime pleases me =) although i have yet to generate a world where i don't get stuck after one boss, the difficulty is quite insane ;) but alas, off to a new world, off to a new try!
