Description
Just wanted to give people a heads up in case they haven't noticed that the Halo live action series is already out and it's actually pretty good, for now at least. So far Episode 1-3 have been released and they release an episode every week on Machinima.

I haz avidly watched them all. I'm impressed by the overall quality of the series to be honest. They've done a swell job with it.
And Susan. (Chronicles of Narnia, for those who don't get it).
Me too, I was especially impressed by the CGI quality, some of it surpasses even the quality in most movies. I was mostly afraid of many of this new actors (Not Susan :P) screwing it up with bad acting, but it's quite decent so far. This may very well be a big vicotry for series and movies inspired from video games.
But I am holding off with the champagne until we have seen it all, mainly Chief ;)
I watched quite a few of the behind the scenes videos before they released the series itself, and the actor for Chief was pretty intent on doing things right. I have high hopes. Edit: And by right I mean character movements, things we would all remember from the game, you know?
And yeah about the new actors. Every time I watch a series like this (i.e. web series) I always cringe and wait for the horrible acting.
Yeah, it's a result of a shitload of bad movies and series, made entirely as an attempt to cash in on popular platforms, games and more.
So they can make that but not a Halo movie?
Well, it sort of is a movie, they just release it in episodes, put all of them together and you have a 2 hour movie ( Maybe 1.5)
That's my biggest grief, is that they made this, but not a movie. I do believe however, that depending on how popular this is, they might well produce a movie next. (and by next I mean within the next decade).
