Put the data file that you unzipped into your homeworld2 folder and let it overwrite it wont change anything. Then make a new shortcut like this.
"C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -overrideBigfile
im really bad at explaining this stuff so, yeah
