this is the multi-player game, if you want a single-player game then you want to look at the single-player mods for the game.

I can't find the server today (26/9/2015). has it been closed down or is it just having a server fix?

One thing the should really do for the steel Talons, make the Mammoth tanks the old Tiberian Sun style, that's what the Steel Talons are, they are TW2 soldiers so they use Tiberian sun stuff.
