The room doesn't have anything in it; it's used to portray the idea of lazy/unfinished building. All the important rooms are more lit up.

The ModDB community seems to notice all my typos.

Well first off this isn't canon; the general story was written by me in a day. Please don't take it seriously, and compare it with pointless facts, that now I have to spend my time worrying about.

Also, Aperture Science West wasn't created after portal 1, the events of this mod happen after p1. ASW was built right after BYCTWD. (which AFAIK happened a few years before the black mesa incident) The facility is built incredibly fast due to the scientific advancements of old aperture. (i.e. panels, mass factories, robots.) Just like Aperture the place is completely impenetrable to the combine.

If you still think that doesn't match up, I could care less.
