Agree. Starts up so quick that it's not a massive problem, but is a bit annoying.

I do agree with you. I think their best move is to keep it at the current price for a year or so, then try and get it on to Steam at a slightly reduced price, then lower it when sales happen.
Everyone who's a fan would have already bought it at the current price, and they'd gain more exposure from Steam. Look at Paradox - they've made a lot from having their games on Steam.
Of course, it would be foolish of them to admit if they plan on doing that since it would make some people who may have bought at the higher price postpone their purchase.
I don't think you're all really disagreeing.
One thing, though - if they sell it at a higher-than-longrun-optimal price now, they have the option of lowering the price in the future, to gain maximum profit. They don't have the inverse option.
I think it's actually a good decision. If there's any showstoppers, they have Sunday night for them to show up and then the next 5 days to get fixing. If they release on Friday, for example, then if there are any big problems they'll be there for the weekend. Despite this I want it now! :D
You get the key sent to your inbox, I'm assuming that'd work on the standalone. What game did Desura mess up for you?
Yeah, I'm not normally hyped like this, but this game has me itching to play it. Preordered, the 20th can't come quick enough!
