I love Witcher 3:D
I'm not so sure about this. When I saw Witcher 3 in 2013 E3 demo I was blown away. With that graphic it could be the best looking game for a long time, but unfortunately they have to downgrade it, but I'm sure that was not their interest but in interest some other companies. Just imagine how it would look it the console gamers would have a game with drastically lower graphic against the PC.
Even if the graphic is nowhere so important as gameplay and story (which are definitely great) I was very disappointed with the low visibility which is very important for me in a game. Fallout 3 and New Vegas have a very good view distance (even if objects in the distance doesn't look very good, but there are many mods for that) and Fallout 4 probably too. I haven't played Fallout 4 so I don't know exactly.
Anyway Witcher is definitely one of the best medieval RPG for now, but for me its best the Gothic 1 & 2. If Gothic 3 wouldn't be so buggy, broken and it would be like the previous two games it would be definitely that game but Withcher proved that it's a great series.
You could actually manualy improve the view distance to your liking :) just sayin
Thanks for info! But do you mean in game settings, or by some tweak? Maybe there is even a mod for that, but unfortunately Witcher has a small Modding scene in comparison with games like Fallout 4 (but at least it has some mods unlike some other games).

That's interesting. Unfortunately, when I search for it on Google, I don't find any direct comparison (only SweetFx or Reshade preset which adds some better colors, but unfortunately they can't increase the view distance) between tweaked Witcher and the on from E3. I hope that sometime I will have enough time to play this game at ultra settings and then I can tweak it so I will know how it looks on ultra with those tweaks.
