Thanks.
I am not sure why the US/UK didn't use these types of sights. Pretty much all the other nations had reflex sights for their AA guns in WW2. The US/UK had those ancient looking pancake iron sights.

UK used reflex sights on their first bofors series, but in 1940 after dunkirk they were dropped in order to make production less expensive. Also british naval STAAG dual 40-mm mounts had reflex sights as a backup for radar control, and some british air defence artillery regiments used Bofors L70, which had reflex sights, during the Cold War. First-line regiments had their L70s auto-controled with radar, while territorial army ones had only reflex sights.

Description

Updated and remade our bofors L70 AA gun. I really like this gun so I wanted it to look as good as possible. Its similar to WW2 bofor guns but way more deadly.

I even made the Swedish made Nife reflex gun sight, really cool!! They made these toward the end of WW2 for their bofors and other AA guns. They worked really well and were used in the cold war also mostly on the bofor L70 guns.
