It is ok lol :P This is one of my first games.

I extracted .exe file. I try to run the game, window opens, and after couple of of seconds I get this error.
"RPGVXAce RTP is required in order to run this game"

You could just try opening them in notepad and you will understand :D
They are both text files. Settings contains your settings(you can delete it, but your settings will be reset to default), hs stand for highscores.

in appdata folder under squaball
You can't write entries in it though :P
It is encoded :D You can delete it though to reset your scores and stuff.

Hm. It is really a preference. Some people on the forums said the same thing as you, while others liked it as it were. I don't know about you, but I cannot play when constantly pressing jump. If you would make the entire run without any deaths, that would be awesome. I couldn't do it even once :D

Hmmm. Good. I will have to make a patch so Squaball is a rectangle. Not 14x14 but 15x14.
