I recommend this to have Oasis at the Fast Travel list as posted at
Forums.gearboxsoftware.com
"This method involves temporarily swapping out a Borderlands level with Oasis, loading it in game to discover the fast travel point, then switching back the files. I used Arid_Arena_Coliseum_P for this example, but switching out any self contained level should work just fine.
-Navigate to your main Borderlands directory, and into ..\borderlands\WillowGame\CookedPC\Maps\Arid
-Rename or backup Arid_Arena_Coliseum_P.umap (Should be second file from the top in the Arid directory)
-Take W_Scrap_Oasis_P.umap from the archive, place it into the Arid directory, and rename it to Arid_Arena_Coliseum_P.umap
-Run Borderlands, select a character as normal and enter the game. Travel to the Fyrestone Coliseum and the Oasis will load. Once loaded, a message should appear at the top of the screen stating that the Oasis outpost has been discovered. (This will place the Oasis into the fast travel list)
-Exit the game, replace the modified level with the backup of the Coliseum from before. Everything's back to normal, and you now have the Oasis fast travel point!"

Borderlands I for fun. it was a time I had the time to play. Over 600 hours accounted at Steam. And still prefer BL1 over BL2. Oasis custom maps & mods are installable over Windows Vista/7 - good for those who made the complete path and want to play more - or visit some minutes.
