This is a troll mod. Shortly after opening a door with a nearby crowbar and taking a few steps, you're greeted by an extremely crude "joke" (which probably isn't even safe to describe around here, but it's essentially making fun of people who still play this game).

Even after I tweaked the map in the LevelEditor and removed this event (named ""n-word"teleport", it's that crude), it almost seems like there was some minor effort put into the story, but the next level transition crashes the game to desktop. The massive amount of positive reviews (or at least it showed as a high amount, before I actually rated this mod), as well as many "Disagree"'s on negative reviews, lead me to believe that bot accounts were used to purposely up this mod in the ranks and make it noticed.

What I don't understand is: why even bother with all of this? This just comes across as a bad waste of spare free time, not just for the people trying this mod, but also for the mod author themselves.

P.S.: I got curious and looked into the other maps in the LevelEditor. It seems like an actual decent Custom Story was being built, but for some reason one of the maps got completely deleted (causing the crash to desktop). Something weird is going on here.

I tried playing it twice, but for some reason it freezes and then crashes to desktop. Specifically, it does this on the junction that's immediately after opening the second door. I have no idea what's causing this.

Last level? You mean the "machine" level?

I really want to play this one, but I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong. I can't get this Custom Story to start.

As per the instructions, I've copied the folder and the .bat file onto the Amnesia root folder. Clicking the .bat file in the root folder won't do anything. Clicking the .bat file in the Oh_Silent_Night folder will prompt the error message "Could not load main init file: Oh_Silent_Night/silent_config/silent_main_init.cfg".

So what am I supposed to do? What am I doing wrong? Thank you kindly for the help.

I don't understand the reason why this Custom Story, being separate from the "Abduction" Custom Story, was placed here instead of it's own mod page.

Other than that, this wasn't too bad of an experience. It's unpolished, but it has potential to be a great story. The maps require some further designing, and there's a game-breaking bug by the very end of the story that can cause a softlock (SPOILER: the story ends with you being ambushed by a grunt, but if you're wrongly placed in the room, the grunt can actually reach you and kill you, causing a softlock).

Why though?
