Please try setting your game to English: Right-click on Attila from the Steam game library and choose Properties.
Go to the Language tab.
Select "English"

Please try this: Go to your AppData folder, normally located at C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila
Delete the folder "battle_preferences". Then restart Attila and try again

If that doesn't work try this:
Steam Library > Total War Attila > Attila's Properties > Language
and change the language to "English"

Please try this: verify the game cache, Right-click on the game in your Steam library, choose properties, go to the local files tab and click on verify integrity of the games cache and let it run.

Try verifying your game cache via Steam, right click on Attila in your Steam library and click properties, go to "local files" and click "verify integrity of game files"
