Awesome mod. The missiles are awesome, and the battles are so much more exciting.
I noticed that some people were asking about playing story mode with this mod, and it actually is possible.
Just start up a game with vanilla Freelancer, and save as soon as you're able to. Then, exit Freelancer and install the mod using FLMM. Load the save you just made, and that's it. Keep in mind however, that the Starflier you have is not that great, so battles will be rather difficult until you can buy a new ship.
I've been playing story mode with this mod for some time, and haven't encountered any problems.
