you can't retrain it. However, if you recruit enough legions, eventually you'll get that legion number again, and you can use that to merge the units

troy is out of the time frame unfortunately.
Though I should considered Pergamum (can't add it now because of the faction limit)
you either disband units to not lose money, or you bribe it on the very first turn (it is possible)
not in the near future as i'm working on other stuff. But if i come back to it i'll try to make it compatible with any mod, which includes BI
Thanks! That was my goal initially.
It currently does not work with other mods (though i think there are ways to use it alongside the randomiser mod), but that could be doable. I'm on other proects right now but if I come back to this that would be the next step
i dont have med2. But this could probably be adapted to it if someone in the community is willing to do it, shouldn't be too hard
thanks! A larger map is something I can consider if I ever go back to working on this mod (currently busy with other projects). But I'm really glad you liked the mod!
that's a weird issue, what screen do you get stuck at?
you cannot. Legion units are not retrainable. This is intended, because this way it emulates the real legions. You can recruit a new one, but not replenish existing ones (and don't worry about the numbers, it goes back to 1 when you reach 20)
The Original Rome: Total War. Not Remastered, and no need for either BI or Alexander expansions.
To download the mod, you need to go to the 'files' section, click on 'Wars of the Peloponnesus' (it's the only one in the list), and then click download.
The downloaded file contains a text file with intructions on how to install the mod.
Once you donwload the file, there is a text file with instructions on how to install the mod. Come back to this if you have any issues then
thanks for the feedback!
I understand your concerns about Ithaca and about the looks of other factions' units. However, I must say that I had the intention to:
1 - Make the mod feel like a vanilla thing, as in making it feel like somewhat an extension of the vanilla game in a different time period
2 - Make Ithaca as an easter egg. It is supposed to be a weird, OP faction. Historically, they were completely irrelevant by this point, so making them a regular faction wouldn't fit in my opinion.
I really appreciate the feedback though - it's always useful to know what people prefer for future mods!
Thanks! Sometime I will release a new version - it won't change the campaign, but will ad other campaigns and historical battles. It will also fix some mistakes that this one had (things that I didn't notice on release, but that people have been reporting). So I would be grateful if you reported all errors you encounter while playing it!
Thanks! Epirus and Thessaly are also affected by the macedonian reforms. They can also trugger them if they conquer Pella and upgrade it to a huge city.
As for the temples, the initial idea was to make them have 1 each so that they'd build it and you'd have a different one in each city, according to which gods were most worshipped there historically. Altough later after having this implemented, I found that the gameplay wouldn't comply to the idea, as most factions won't have time to upgrade the temples to tiers 4 or 5
Yes Ithaca is supposed to not be able to build a port in their island. This is because they are very powerful, and otherwise the AI would dominated everyone with them, which wouldn't be great.
However, if you are playing as them, there is a way to get out of the island. It is sort of tipped in their description, but it essentially is to use the diplomat in the mainland to bribe one or more settlements
hello! Unfortunately, it is impossible to install mods on mobile (not just this one, mods in general dont work). So this is only for the disk and steam version
well, I'd say it should be played in the same difficulty as vanilla RTW (as in if you play VH/VH on vanilla you should play VH/VH in the mod, same goes for every other difficulty level)
thanks! means a lot coming from you!
Sure! The only thing you need to do would be to go into the descr_model_battle file and add your model. I can help you do that if you want, just contact me on Discord to be easier to talk (Eduardo Sousa #7604)
