Okay, I have been playing persona 4 recently, I love the whole real life mechanic. Then I got to wondering, there should be a strategy rpg with a mechanic like this. Furthermore, the social aspect should play more into the gameplay instead of an experience boost for creating a new monster. You are the leader of the group, deciding battle tactics and keeping track of the relationships.

Example: Character A and Character B are dating. They just started dating, so they are infatuated with each other and couplie. So, they get a bonus for whenever they are one square apart.

Chloe and Jeremy used to be married, but now they are divorced. They stick with the adventuring party just to finish their quest, but they cant stand each other. The closer they are, the more their stats suffer.

Lasagna had a baby with Spaghetti, their child (Pesto) has a culmination of their stats. He'll take after the parent he likes most, and will become a useful character.

Also, I havent played a stratrpg with positional effects. Like hiding behind walls for cover, or scouting out to find enemies, attacks of oppurtunity, and flanking. These would add more to the game, and would give chances for characters to have interesting attacks (Granny, the alchemist, throws a AoE potion at a monster, which makes the ground slippery. The monster has a chance of falling, then going into prone if it moves.)

So, thats my idea. I can write for the game, do concept art. I could learn how to skin and help with the class/abilities.
