I felt sick when I watched the trailer and I lost all hope of Humanity when I saw the gameplay footage.

This game is yet again a kick in the balls, for any lover of Tolkien's universe. Anything of the origional lore is yet again none existent in this WB's lusty search for money.
I hope they'll loose so much money of this, for it would only be just.

WB please return the IP to EA, I may not like the company, but at least BFME was reasonably fun.

This is a truly heart breaking, but understandable decision.

I do hope they change the skill builds,
The potions one was completely useless and going Blade/Mage combo way to overpowered, max shield spell and adrenaline = win the game (on medium no need for dodging).

So I'm interested to see what they'll do to/or if they'll fix the skill builds.

It's an Action RPG (based on a polish book series) about a Witcher (magically mutated human monster hunters) Gerald of Rivia and it's set in fantasy world occupying multiple feudal Kingdoms and a HRE like empire and multiple races who are 'seen as the lesser races (cause we humans are perfect, aren't we :P).

I doubt if they’ll be bothering their new CEOs about a modification of a game with their IP. Or did they change more than just their CEOs?

The Witcher 1&2 and Dark Souls and lately I've been playing the Legend of Zelda series, OOC will always be the greatest game of all time for me.

As far as we know there is no deadline and if needed I'm sure that I'm not the only one to say I would fight for this mod for months to come if needed.

Fighting evil and injustice takes time you know.

You are right about the fact that Bilbo wasn't inside a barrel, I seem to have misremembered. Even so I think he'd be rather occupied with clutching for dear life to the barrel, rather than keeping on the lookout.
And yes Gollum is the one, which for all his flaws is still technically a Hobbit :P.

It could very well be that the elves where hunting them through Mirkwood, I'd be quite shocked if they didn't. The story is written from Bilbo's perspective and he's in a barrel, how would we know if they were.
Yes Mirkwood is quite good at letting prisoners escape, 2 hobbits and 13 dwarves as far we know. But as said in the FOTR they hunted Smeagol when he did escape. So when they notice their prisoners are gone ofc they would go go after them.

Btw the reclaiming of their homeland is as much a drive to the dwarves as is their greed for gold.

Damn that warhorse game looks amazingly stunning and loved the little fight scene (looked far more fluent than anything skyrim has).

So are you still in need of only editing people? I'm a none-professional writer whom would like to help, if you are in need of any.

This has been pitched before and sadly this isn't possible due to:

1) Tolkien Estate being extremely protective of this IP (so another C&D would be imminent, as well as I remember that one of the other teams asked TE if they could make Beleriand and to a straight up no returned to them).

2)Beleriand would be to massive a build to create and most of it from total scratch.

3) The first age spends over 450+ years, which means they can't put in the full story of this war, where in MERP they have the war of the ring wherein they can.

I myself would love to see Beleriand as well though sadly it just isn't viable.

man Recovery you really need to get a badge of Honour or get a companion named after you when this is over. I have seen no other whom has campaigned as hard as you have. Keep it up good sir!

Saw this on the forums, just horrid. Something terribly twisted is going on at WB headquarters to be sure. You'll have to be overly psycho to believe a little chip shop could do harm to your IP.

I agree, a new update would be great for your supporters to hear at least a new podcast to keep up morale so to say.

There is one little problem with the idea though; there are cities which already have Sindarin names, Minas Tirith for example, so sadly it won't completely work. I'd say transelate it into westron if it had been completed.
