I'll post here what I've written at DoW Files about the pack.
Abiad Bridge: Quite well-made 1v1 map. And this one also has some big empty, flat places, allowing a rather large base. I like the number of points, too, and the wide paths, where I think also Baneblades can take through their giant hulls (haven't tried it yet, tho). All in all, a very nice map by Munich.
Orky Island: Waaaaghhh!! Very Orky atmosphere here (complete with executed cadavers and all), which Ork-fans will surely appreciate. Game mechanics are also well-made. IMO, the strongest points here are the initial defensive buildings (which make almost sure even though it's an Ork map, there will be no rush), and the bridge leading between the bases.
Final Stand: Again, atmosphere is very nice here. Playing this one, you can actually feel you play in Chaos territory. The number of points is adequate, and the central points give room for some bloooody fights. But I find base areas somewhat small, making bases too cramped for my style. But others shouldn't be put off by this. Now go and kill those heretics/marines (whichever you prefer)!
Reservoire: Again, a professionally made map from Nerdsturm; I haven't even experienced any problems with decals that he mentioned at DoW Files (with balance maybe, but I was way too busy killing off enemies to pay attention :)). This one has a solid start, as there are some defensive buildings at the edge of both teams' "turf" (2 per player). My only concern was again the way too small place for a base, but it's only something personal.
Exiled Mountains: I hereby grant Bio_Ultra_ a virtual wreath for his outstanding skills in atmosphere-creating in his maps! Here are some very nice decals, making you believe you really fight in the snowy mountains. There is an adequate number of points to capture, but you have to act quickly to gain their advantage.
Good work, grats to the whole team! They've kept their promise of releasing packs full of maps that are original and fun to play.

It's not you who caused any hassles, but ModDB. Where are the admins now, right when we need one?

Does anybody know anything about the file? A nice amount of hours (that greatly exceed 24) have passed since Bio's message, and the pack is yet not available.

AFAIK, all these maps are compatible with WA, thus you don't have to own DC in order to play them.

My brother tried this map pack, and he finds what he1s seen so far very pleasing.
But, first he tried to DL it from here (ModDB) but the .rar archive only contained one folder, and had some exclamation marks, so there's something wrong about the file. It went all right when he DLd from FileFront, though.

Oh, and I've made you some advertisement on DOW Files, in the News section, along with giving you guys some donuts. It's a pity not many people read older news, but anyway.

Hoi Ultra, Integer n all!
Here is my feedback on the other maps (I've played some time on each, so that I can give my opinion. I've spent almost my whole evening playing DC, but I did so with most pleasure! :D) They may also serve as sort of encouragers for gonna-be downloaders.
So, as for The_Integer's Baron Valley: I liked it somewhat more than Boiling Point, because it is also a very nice map, and here the paths are pleasantly wide as well (I haven't yet tried, but I think even a Baneblade could get by here). It may be personal, as I like playing defensive, but I also find it very pleasing that the bases are very well defendable. All in all, a pretty nice map.
And now, on to Ultramarine's maps. It is a good change in Winter Sorrow that you start with turrets defending a Relic.Getting that point is now a challenge indeed, because of the enemy turrets. I also liked the huge area on your plateau where one can build an extended base. Plus, base defense is good here too, with 4 SPs at the ramp.
Jungle ruins is very tempting as well. SPs are placed in quite a good manner around the starting location, and the "Inner circle" is also a good idea. Add it to a nice nice atmosphere (with burning trees and all) and you have a map that fits in with all the others in terms of quality.
Given that I've only written positive thoughts about the maps (with a minor exception in Boiling Point), I may seem biased, but I am not (or at least not very). It's only that I've found so long no thing to criticize about this pack. Maybe I will, but I don't think so.
From Integer, we get what we might expect from him. Who has played any of his maps before knows he makes QUALITY. And Ultramarine, if you're really a beginner in mapmaking, I can tell there's a pretty future waiting for you, at least in terms of DOW maps.
And last but not least, to answer your question: I found Winter Sorrow a little more like my stile (I don't write "better" because I couldn't judge them by quality), as I play most times with IG, and the huge plateaus provide some nice base for them.

As for now, I've only played Boiling Point and Chaos Valley. Boiling Point is quite good (Nerdsturm-level, to be stylish :)), the only thing I disliked a bit is the waaay too narrow areas around the bases. Other than that, it is quite impressive.
For Chaos Valley, I can only say WOW (and that's no game title now; I don't play THAT anyway ;)). I just can't get over the feeling of "Diablo/Diablo II, Hell". It has quite an atmosphere with all that blood, lava and fire geysers.
Keep up the good work, both of you ;) And any other members, who will make maps into the packs.

Thanks for the quick help, I've got it to work by renaming MyDecal to MMM_decals. Now I can fully enjoy these awesome maps!!!
Uh, oh, guys... If you keep coming out with packs of this quality, I'm going to find it somewhat difficult to concentrate on my exams... Especially if Advanced AI comes out... But I'll manage somehow ;)

So, ought it to be MMM_Decals? In the package, there is MyDecal. Well, maybe THAT caused the problem.
And does it have to be exactly in C:\Program Files\etc.? 'cause I've installed DC to an other directory. Anyway, I'll try both locations.

Ahoy Ultra+Team!
I've downloaded this pack, and don't understand this: I've extracted all the files according to the ReadMe (I've got DC), and yet the maps are mere heaps of pink ?s. What could have gone wrong?
These maps look so awesome... But those question marks ruin almost all the fun.
