I have the physical disc copy. So where/ how would I download the updates?

When i pull up the launcher it asks me to update it and when i do i get an error message saying error opening file for writing:
C:\Program Files (x86)LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\Game Data\Data\XML\GAMECONSTRAINTS.XML
Any idea how to fix it?
