Shogun is a great TW title and modding friendly... HOWEVER shogun is all about samurai and this doesn't fit into the lord of the rings. For example there are no animations for shields or axes and we would have loads more work to do to put those animations in.

Orocarni was planned to be a faction early on and I had created some design and roster prototypes (it was very fun and epic imo^^) but sadly it was canceled because of the fact that we barely know anything bout the dwarves of the orocarni or the dark elves... maybe we'll see orocarni in a later modversion or in a submod.

We look forward to making the combat feel very much like Tolkien described in his books.
And what would The Lord of the Rings be without its heroes?

Thanks for the great feedback! We are planning to make Rohan cav the best in he game and we will look over the others...don't worry. Urukhai are stronger and more durable then Orks, but in lore they are still weaker then the northmen...not those havoc wrecking superwarriors like in lotr hahahaha

Yeah, Dale and Erebor are good allies. They trade and support each other so it's very probable that dwarves have access to some of Dales cav^^ Ered Luin however has to rely on fast and sneaky infantry... As cool and badass goatcav is, it's just too ridiculous... I think Tolkien is turning in his grave right now

No, they are one faction! This is the best solution we came up.

There will be very cool Iron Hill units in the Erebor roster, I can promise you that one. As for Ered Luin... We are creating this faction by using references from The Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion to make them as lore friendly as possible but also fit into Wetas overall design. For that we have our great loremasters and my humble self.

Guys, I would utterly love to join you!!! I'm a huge LOTR fan/nerd and I want to become a proper artist. (If you need dwarves then I'm the right person) I don't know if my skills can match yours, but I ashure that I will try my best and I will bring a fresh wind with me.
