Report RSS The Wrath of the Mountain and the Sea : The End of the Human Kind #3 Escape

Chris and others once again embarked on their escape journey. On the way, they heard the bad news through the radio that Cullen City had been breached. When the city was broken, Yesid sent an emergency telegram to the whole country asking for help, and stated that he would fight the enemy to the bitter end.

After hearing Yesed's final telegram, Chris couldn't help crying. Everyone else fell silent.

It seems that the flat city is destined to be unable to compete with the powerful marine creatures. Fortunately, the convoy of Chris and others has entered the mountains. Chris and others can rely on the mountains to temporarily block the threats from the jungle and the ocean.

The towering Morandir Mountains stretch for dozens of miles and are an effective barrier against enemies. Many people who fled from the city gathered here.

There are no emperors, nobles, chiefs, or bosses here. There are just people fleeing.

The refugees dug simple steps into the mountain and used explosives and other methods to dig out caves to live in. Chris and others lived in a natural cave.

Large and small caves were crowded with fleeing citizens and even defeated soldiers. Everyone endured the wind and sun in the caves.

It is really a great irony that the arrogant humans in the past were driven out of the city by a group of animals and lived in caves like their ancient ancestors.

The only difference is that the ancient ancestors came out of the caves to the plains and established villages and cities. Now, due to the invasion of organisms, humans have to move out of the cities and villages and return to the caves.

Chris looked at the sky outside the cave and fell into deep thought.

Can we just hide in caves like mice?

Are we, the human beings, going to be bullied to pieces by a group of livestock?

Just as Chris was thinking, Barrod came over and said: "I don't think we can hide anymore. Hiding like this is not an option."

Chris thought so too, so he nodded and said nothing.

Barrod continued: "Maybe we can create a mutual aid group to combat threats to marine life."

In this way, with just a few words, a group called "Binhai Refugee Mutual Aid Association" was established.
