There is still lots of demand for this mod. Please don't let this die!!

I think Stronghold 2 is when the Firefly team used the last of it's credibility and creativity. The first three games had a heart and soul in them. Firefly literally has no shame in milking stupid people's nostalgia now, like with SHC2. Someone could make a PHENOMENAL 2D Stronghold game now. There'd be little to no limitations due to how fast computers are now, and they could make it look so interesting and beautiful. I'm sick of the plastic shiny look they've given it with SH3 and SHC2. I miss the grittiness of the first three and the creativity <3

I respect modders like you, especially one so dedicated to an old game like SH2 (which needed a good modding done to it)
