It would have helped if BL was moddable as lets say Oblivion since they're around the same age. People are still putting out really in depth mods for that game, while BL is just skin mods and some quest mods but nothing like Oblivion. And you have vampires in Oblivion, but the vamps are better in Skyrim, just need a few 3rd party mods to really make them great, otherwise they have seam issues and other glitches. One glitch, the PC would get stuck after feeding, some modder fixed that. I'd probably go back to Skyrim if someone released a portable version with the really popular mods. Someone did that with the Sims 3 and it worked great, but haven't found anything close it with Skyrim, I do think Hongfire has a portable Oblivion though.

Pretty sure you're right. I blame Activision they rushed the hell out of Trokia. They did the same with that Walking Dead game that Terminal Reality I believe developed, which is why I believe it lacked depth and had numerous bugs. TR made Bloodrayne 2, that was a great game, but they didn't have Majesco breathing down their neck.

I finally encountered that "bug" with the Doomsayer where he just stands there and stops talking. I read somewhere that some think it happens if you leave the hub while he's mid sentence, that seems to be the case. I think it's also linked to the fact if he's killed normally, his body stays on the ground until a new game is started.

Was Becket's very brief appearance in the alley of Asylum removed or am I blinking and not seeing it?

I mean I can do without it, just curious. Becket is an interesting character, I don't recall them saying he'd be in the sequel but he should be.

Actually, the option to ask her to remove it is brought up when you accept her first quest to get rid of the Russians. In short, its an option the first time you talk to her. Best to leave it like that because some may actually like the turnstile, not sure why they would, but they may. Secondly, if you don't want to wait until you accept her very first quest, you can just type "noclip" in the console window when you enter and go right through it.

Weird, I'm not seeing any resolution option issues, in fact after I uninstalled the game and deleted all the files and then re-installed it, it maintained my video options, except for gamma. Which version of the game are you using? Steam? Gog? Old school cd-rom?

Do you even see the resolution settings under options? If so, the monitor may be ignoring them and going straight to native resolution, if so, it may involve editing an ini or config file, I'll check and see if I see anything, while others I imagine may provide the answer in the meantime.

So far 10.7 is pretty cool, I'm at the Society of Leopold, not my favorite quest so I'm taking my time to actually do it. Bach is just a pain to kill. I know there's ways to cheat to make him just stand there and waste him fast but eh.

Nice touch on the ladies of the night, didn't notice that in 10.0 so I'm assuming it that it was done between 10.0 and 10.7 somewhere along the line. My character spends a lot of time hiding from the cops, so I imagine I would have seen it before it had been there starting with or prior to 10.0.

At first the Gangrel version didn't work, the idle anims were just gone, after installing UP 10.7 they seem to be back, I also tweaked a few little things with that Lod exe file, and I added glowing eyes.

Thanks.. that worked like a charm since they were in the directory I idiotically deleted. I gotta remember its materials/character/models where the textures are, not models/character.

Wonder if Bloodlines 2 will be easier to tweak. Trokia kind of made things a little difficult.. imo.

I also have the GOG version but I haven't run into that issue but I started a brand new game. Did you remember to start a brand new game after you installed 10.7 or are you trying to play a game you started when you still had 10.2? If you are, it won't work, all of your previous saves with 10.2 will not work right with 10.7. That is how it always has been with new versions of the patch, a brand new game has to be started for it to work right.

Plus patch is installed, didn't touch the python directory, but did remove the two Misti sub directories. Dance worked perfect a few days ago but ever since I removed those directories, just goes black and then she goes on with her business, while in the console it says it can't find some file called Private_lap_dance or something similar to that.

Figure there may be a Misti file that directs to that dance file. Only thing I can think of since I didn't touch anything else in the games directory.

Can anyone be a sport and send me the file needed for Misti's private lap dance? Or all of the Misti files? I'm half way into the game so re-installing the patch isn't a good idea but I accidentally deleted the misti folders from the materials and models directories.
