Actually, it does.. If it doesn't work, that's something else. Worked just fine for me with the game patched to the newest version and following the instructions in the ReadMe.

Excellent mod, really made me want to play this game again.
However, I didn't get a dialog to continue the game in freeplay mode. I do decline the C-Conciousness offer and finish from there, but nothing.
Otherwise great to see that mods like this one exist.
