Sorry for the late reply to you, I honestly just barely noticed your comments or I would have addressed you earlier. However, you are right when I started making adjustments and coming out with earlier versions I did use Infamous fusion as a base. I have also credited them in every version since the first version over a year ago I believe. In regards to Hardcore Aid it is now much more polished in V2 as now it utilizes the pill animation to simulate taking some kind of pain killer before performing critical aid. Also in regards to enemy infighting it is not currently implemented due to there being no unpredictability in it as the patrols are on very set paths. I really do appreciate your honest feedback though so If you could put some time in the most recent version and tell me what you think I'd appreciate it, as there is a whole lot of new features I think you'd like. Thanks again!

Sorry for the late reply but if my memory serves me correctly dylans far cry 2 mod only alters the gamemodes.xml file. Things such as night visibility are completely vanilla and left untouched.

I really appreciate the help you have provided so far. No matter what I do with the 25_player.xml file I spawn in the jeep as Warren. I have even directly copied the exact same entitylibrarypatch from your mod and it still yields the same result.

In my attempt to recreate with as little error as possible, I used the sp_avatar.mgb.desc available from your mod and put it within a test patch_unpack file. I then took the same "25_player.xml" from your mod and replaced it with the previous one. After doing so I created a new folder named "anonymous_merc". This made the file-path "\graphics\actors\anonymous_merc" I copied the "DCB50936.xbg" available within your mod and renamed it "anonymous_merc.xbg". I then placed the renamed xgb into the file path above and packed. After unpacking to see if the xgb folder would be made, it was made and named "DCB50936.xbg". I assumed that this had worked and used those patch files to test in game. After starting a new game and loading in I was Warren Clyde. How do I make the game avoid using his player model?

I was wondering how you were able to implement Anonymous mercenary into your realism plus mod. After looking everything over I noticed you created a new folder titled xbg which correlated with your "<value name="fileName" type="Hash">DCB50936</value>".
You also created a new xgb "graphics\actors\anonymous_merc\anonymous_merc.xbg</value>"
which obviously isn't available in the base game. Can you give me any pointers on how any of this works. Thanks

No its not possible due to them using a different more developed version of the glacier engine.

most crashes in the intro/tutorial section of the game happen when using direct x10 in the graphics options. In order to avoid crashes make sure to use direct x9. I will go back and retest SMG damage.

If you have access to the tools to unpack the patch.dat and patch.fat files you can look inside the scripts/engine/objects/pawn/statemachine folder and inside there is vehicles.gosm. Within the ini you are able to edit the duration of any animation related to cars within the game. What sucks is I think there are more .gosm files that relate to malaria and I believe the desert collapse animations, but I do not know how to extract them.
