Btw, I was browsing through facebook and I've seen that FS doesn't have a facebook (fan)page. Any signs of making one? :O
Maybe we could boost the popularity by having one... What's your take on it?

The guy had the same problem as me except I get the string issue as well. Did both of the steps, still nothing... Even with the new launcher. I just tried updating btw, except the game crashes now xD

Hey Talon, I may have expressed my self incorrectly. The vanilla game works just fine, and I can even run first strike through the main game by accessing custom games. But, when I run the game through the launcher, whether it's windowed or run with admin privileges... The game stops responding and I still get the error. I'll head to the forums to see what could cause the problem :)

Hey guys, I played First Strike before without a problem and remember the good old days when Black Intel hosted the servers, but now I can't seem to run the game. I installed it a month ago, and tried going back and forth to run the game. Uninstalled the vanilla game, re-updated multiple times and still nothing. Was hoping the new patch would fix the issue but I keep getting this "E:\First Strike\FirstStrikeLauncher.exe:1289: DeprecationWarning: raising a string exception is deprecated" God knows why it still stalks me, but I was hoping you could help out :)
