Ahahah 20:20 I remember standing on that pole too in LWR, out of reach of boards, but by a collision bug they could push you and fall down. The beginning is rough, there are many packs of mutants which are hard(but better) to avoid.
is there a way to download it faster? every russian file i download takes like 2 days.....
How to download it from Yandex, it does not cost anything it just takes a few minutes to update your free account so your cloud storage is big enough to hold the file and then you can do an instant transfer over to your accounts cloud and then when you go to download from your own cloud it will reduce the download time from 3 days to 45 minutes (That was what my downloads where).
Then after you have downloaded it you can delete it from your cloud and do the same thing any other time you want to download from Yandex. You now have roughly 8gb's of Yandex cloud you can use which will cover any mod and allow you unthrottled downloading for free.

They should both fix things but I can't guarantee the one for the last version is identical to the one uploaded for Omega so it is best to go for the one that's for the actual version you have. They may be exactly the same, I don't honestly know. In my hard drive I found three different texture fixes for Lost worlds. .exe's and regular gamedata's. I've currently got Omega running on my 10004 and Troops of Doom on my 10006 and both have the textures fixed with there relevant patches.

Don't suppose you have come across any translations for : Dream Reader and/or Dead Autumn 2. Both are recent mods for ShoC which I have downloaded but haven't yet tried.
I know the names but can't remember much about them, I'll look into it.
Thanks, regarding the versions of Omega, I believe without being 100% positive that it runs on v1.0005.
Maps with transition points, Russian text but it shows where the transitions are and figuring out which goes where and the English name of each map is not hard.

that yandex link for the main mod goes at a lightning fast 8 kb/s. My browser says that'll take 3 days. Have they put up any faster links? Torrents?

In the bottom right hand corner there's a British flag press that for a language change.

I d/loaded omega 2.0 installed fired up very quick start, but there it ends, you appear in a tunnel a pack of dogs attack.. bang etc. press R to reload and er nothing, no response, I tried changing the key to another still nothing, any idea what is happening or has anybody had the same problem.
I loaded the mod as in the files instructions.
